It is such a cute space located in downtown El Dorado and has great potential for lots of color and design. Not quite as big as I would have liked (with little-to-no closet space, ah!) but we are ready to see all Ikea can do for us! :) Brand new and super affordable with all new appliances and giant-sized windows that let the sunlight pour in! Perfect loft studio.
It was amazing to see how God had a wonderful week in store for us! On Wednesday we met with our wedding photographer, Gina, and loved her! What a huge relief to get that scheduled! Then that same day I took my computer back to Haddock with more screen issues and they told me 7-10 days wait. Boo. I almost walked out because that is way too long and I was worried as I had a ton of work to do this week, but then Friday I received a "new parts installed and it's good-as-new... you can come pick it up!" message that I was thrilled about. In fact, I screamed a little with excitement over the phone and the nerdy guy on the other end (who was graciously trying to explain to me what he had fixed) had to pause and regain his train of thought... ha! Pretty funny.
That afternoon all the connections just fell into place for us to look at these brand new apartments (1st place we looked at too!) and we loved it and were sold. I have been overwhelmed at all God had provided in just one short week.
The night before we went to look at the apartment Garrett said, "let's get serious about praying for a place to live." We had in mind to find a place earlier than the wedding so that I could move in and get it all somewhat organized before the big day. These apartments weren't even on the market yet or completely renovated until January, but each step seemed so perfectly set into motion long before we even knew what was going on, and we are very thankful for a gracious Lord and a full and fun week!
Now I am an organization freak... so I am already dreaming of these fantastic shelving and closet ideas. All I need now is an limitless bank account. Garrett is working on it for me... ha! :)
